On August 4, 2026, Eta Nu Nu hosted National Night Out at Oakland Park Alternative Elementary School. The free community event brought families, neighbors, and community partners together for food, school supplies, family activities, music, giveaways, and valuable community resources.

On August 20, 2026, the Brothers of Eta Nu Nu and Iota Psi Chapters joined together for a clap-in at Windsor Academy to welcome students back for the new school year. The Brothers greeted students with energy, encouragement, and support, helping start the school year on a positive note.

Walk With Me Sugar 5K Makes a Difference

Eta Nu Nu hosted the 2026 Walk With Me Sugar 5K Run/Walk Against Diabetes, presented by ELB Philanthropy on August 22, 2026. The event brought the community together to promote diabetes awareness, health, and wellness while raising $60,000 for the Columbus Free Clinic. Eta Nu Nu is committed to enhancing the life chances of people of color as demonstrated by the many community service projects with which it is involved. In less than two years, Eta Nu Nu was twice recognized as Social Action Chapter of the Year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Fourth District which covers the states of Ohio and West Virginia. In April 2021, Eta Nu Nu won honors as the 4th District Small Chapter of the Year. In June 2022, Eta Nu Nu was the only Fraternity in Columbus, Ohio to receive the NPHC Columbus' Outstanding Leadership Award demonstrating our commitment to service.

In 2023, 2024 and 2025 we were again recognized by the Fourth District as 4th District Chapter of the Year, 4th District Basileus of the Year, 4th District Colonel Charles Young Military Leadership Award, 4th District Graduate Scholar of the Year.
