On October 25, 2024, the Eta Nu Nu Chapter proudly sponsored a special day for East Linden Elementary students by covering the entrance fee for 46 excited students and 6 dedicated teachers at Circle S Farm. Thanks to this support, the students enjoyed a memorable day filled with exploration and fun!
On October 4, 2024 we continued our three-year tradition at East Linden Elementary, connecting with 5th grade boys through mentorship and meaningful conversations. We’re proud to see these young men grow each year, guiding them toward leadership and success. We’re excited to keep investing in our community’s future with this impactful program.

On October 15, 2024, the Eta Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. launched the Omega Chess for Success program at East Linden Elementary and Linden STEM Academy. Research shows that learning chess improves students' problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and concentration—essential tools for success in and out of the classroom. We’re excited to empower our youth through this enriching program!
On October 12, 2024, the Eta Nu Nu Chapter, alongside dedicated volunteers, led impactful workshops for youth as part of the Columbus Urban League’s Work Readiness Training University (WRTU), empowering participants with essential skills for the future.
Eta Nu Nu believes that addressing Black health disparities requires a sustained and collaborative effort from various sectors. Many of our Health Initiatives programs focuses on addressing both the social determinants of health and systemic issues.
Brother Dr. Judson L. Jeffries has written numerous articles for the Columbus Dispatch that informs and uplifts the community.
Eta Nu Nu is committed to enhancing the life chances of people of color as demonstrated by the many community service projects with which it is involved. In less than two years, Eta Nu Nu was twice recognized as Social Action Chapter of the Year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Fourth District which covers the states of Ohio and West Virginia. In April 2021, Eta Nu Nu won honors as the 4th District Small Chapter of the Year. In June 2022, Eta Nu Nu was the only Fraternity in Columbus, Ohio to receive the NPHC Columbus' Outstanding Leadership Award demonstrating our commitment to service.
In 2023 and 2024 we were again recognized by the Fourth District as 4th District Chapter of the Year, 4th District Basileus of the Year, 4th District Colonel Charles Young Military Leadership Award, 4th District Graduate Scholar of the Year.
