This event honored their journeys, providing a platform for survivors to share their stories and inspire others. On February 3, 2024, Eta Nu Nu chaperoned Columbus Urban League youth at the Games for Grades event, where students watched the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Dallas Mavericks! This experience celebrated their academic achievements and reinforced the value of education.

Eta Nu Nu Chapter is proud to expand STEAM literacy in Columbus City Schools with the delivery of 1,000 books donated by USC. These books, developed with Room to Read and USC scientists, highlight diverse professionals in Oncology, Virtual Reality, Nanotechnology, and more—helping young students envision careers in STEAM fields. Launched during Black History Month, this initiative reinforces our commitment to educational equity.
On February 8, 2025, Eta Nu Nu’s Omega STEM Club at Linden STEM Academy competed in the First Lego League District Competition. The Leopards and PAWSters, made up of 4th-6th graders, showcased teamwork, problem-solving, and coding skills while embracing the core values of discovery and innovation.
Eta Nu Nu believes that addressing Black health disparities requires a sustained and collaborative effort from various sectors. Many of our Health Initiatives programs focuses on addressing both the social determinants of health and systemic issues.

Eta Nu Nu is committed to enhancing the life chances of people of color as demonstrated by the many community service projects with which it is involved. In less than two years, Eta Nu Nu was twice recognized as Social Action Chapter of the Year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Fourth District which covers the states of Ohio and West Virginia. In April 2021, Eta Nu Nu won honors as the 4th District Small Chapter of the Year. In June 2022, Eta Nu Nu was the only Fraternity in Columbus, Ohio to receive the NPHC Columbus' Outstanding Leadership Award demonstrating our commitment to service.
In 2023 and 2024 we were again recognized by the Fourth District as 4th District Chapter of the Year, 4th District Basileus of the Year, 4th District Colonel Charles Young Military Leadership Award, 4th District Graduate Scholar of the Year.
